Finally! A Ferrari 250 GTO You Can Afford, Sort Of…
Looking for Your First Ferrari? Save Yourself $50 Million Dollars and Bring Home This Tiny 250 GTO
You may already know that the Ferrari 250 GTO is among the most expensive vehicles in the world, if not the most. Regardless whether it’s a racing survivor or not, the cash that one of these beauties commands is stratospheric even for the wealthiest of collectors.
Thanks die-cast builder Amalgam, you can now forget about the exorbitant price tag and drive a 250 GTO home today. Well, by drive I mean carry. This 1:18 scale “Il Mostro” replica is as delicious as die-cast models get, and it’ll be the shining star (or stallion) of your collection. For only $595 bucks, you can bring home one of the most revered hand-built small replicas in the world. It’s certainly not cheap, but neither is it “just a toy.”
This Ferrari 250 GTO is dubbed “Il Mostro,” which is Italian for “The Monster,” and it participated in the 1962 24 Hours of Le Mans. Sporting the number 19 on its livery, the iconic sports car achieved a second place overall finish and a first place class finish. Therefore, this little stallion has a high pedigree.
With other Amalgam replicas costing thousands of dollars, this high-quality model looks darn good without (completely) breaking the bank. Furthermore, this beauty marks the first of a series of new Ferrari replicas the builder will be releasing throughout 2017.
