Forza Motorsport fans finally getting all the Porsches they want for free.

Forza Motorsports may be one of the best racing simulations available on consoles, but over the last few years, their track count and car collection has been a little less than stellar. The base game always ships with some respectable machines, but then month after month, players get force to pony up more cash for new cars and circuits. The biggest offender has always been the Porsche packs. Thanks to some exclusivity agreements with EA, players have been forced to pay as much as $20 for the privilege to pilot a virtual Porsche. Several Forza games didn’t even feature Stuttgart’s best wares.

However, with Forza Motorsports 7, that is all changing. Turn 10’s relationship with the German marque is growing stronger all the time, allowing for the first ever car announcement at a video game conference when the GT2 RS was unveiled at E3 this year. Now we know that Forza 7 will ship with nearly 30 different Porsches in the box. They claim that is more than any racing game has ever featured.

The big names like the 959, 918 Spyder and the new 911 GT2 RS are all on the list, but the real magic lies hidden deeper. For the true Porsche enthusiast, there are some unbelievable pieces of Porsche history coming in Forza 7. We will get to pilot things like the 718 RS 60 from 1960, the GT1 Strassenversion 911 from the late 90s, and our personal favorite the 962C from 1987. The only thing we see missing from this list is the 917K.

Along with the various machines from Porsche, Turn 10 is promising that Forza 7 will feature more than 700 cars and more than 30 “environments” to race in, whatever that means. The game is also bringing dynamic weather to the franchise and promises extra-pretty graphics thanks to HDR support and 4K resolution. If you want to play with this particular batch of Porsches, you can pick up Forza 7 near the end of September.
