'Future Collector Car Show' Features Coolest Cars Around

Classic Cars is redefining car shows.

If you are reading this article, you have probably been to a handful of car shows, maybe a handful just this year. You might have noticed that throughout the years shows have been doing their best to keep things fun. Thus, the people that are making a big effort to keep the scene fresh definitely deserve our respect. Classic Cars is one of these organizers. They have been holding an annual event called Future Collector Car Show in Phoenix, Arizona, for the past five years.

So, what is the concept behind the show? Well, the idea is that the event is dedicated to the next generation of car collectors. This is the “future.” However, at the same time, “current” collector cars will be displayed. This means that there will be a varied mix of vehicles for everybody to appreciate.  That is without a doubt interesting. There aren’t too many places you will find a Concours-quality classic Mustang parked next to a drift-ready widebody 240sx.

Interested in participating? The free show will be hosted on January 12 at noon. Expect to see a wide variety of cool and high performance vehicles spanning a variety of tastes. Not to mention, there will be 10 different trophies to win for participants. Such trophies include Best of Show, Best Restored, and Best Modified.  The event is open to all participants. However, there are only 200 or so spots available during the show. Currently, the entry price is $25 per vehicle. Submit your entry by December 20 if you feel you make the cut. Anyone can register at this link.

We think that popular enthusiast cars such as the Porsche GT3 RS, Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R, and other similar vehicles will dominate the show. According to Roger Falcione, CEO of Classic Cars, they are expecting a variety of, “unique, exotic, and valuable vehicles to attend.” So, if having a great time around good people and sweet cars sound like a good time, bring the family out.
