George Clooney Gets 911 GT3 RS for His Birthday
What do you get the man that has everything? Well if you are the new wife of superstar actor of George Clooney, you buy the man a brand new Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
According to a post in the British tabloid Mirror, Clooney’s new wife Amal wanted to get him the perfect birthday present. Clooney likes fast cars, and already has a 911, so Amal decided to replace his current Stuttgart toy with a new one.
In case you forgot, the new 911 GT3 RS is the fastest and most powerful yet, with its 4.0-liter flat-six engine wound out to produce 500 horsepower. 0-60 is done in 3.1 seconds, and the top speed is 193 mph.
The asking price for the new GT3 RS starts at more than $175,000, but considering that both George and Amal had large amounts of wealth separately before their marriage, I am sure that this little expense is hardly a dent in the bank account.
The real question is what color she ordered it in. Clooney’s current 911 is black, but the GT3 RS only comes in white, gray, orange or violet.
