Hamann Channels BMW with McLaren “memoR”

As fast and as capable as the McLaren MP4-12C is, it’s not a particularly enticing car. It’s worse than that actually. The McLaren has committed the cardinal sin of  an exotic cars by being boring. Despite it’s outrageous speed and incredibly high limits, showing up to a movie premier in this is more likely to elicit a “meh”  than than gasps of “dear god.” That’s where the aftermarket comes in. Hamann has taken the task to heart with this body kit and paint job.

They call it the “memoR.” Underneath the BMW art car-esque paint job is a Hamann body kit. Oddly, the kit itself isn’t that extreme. It’s front and rear bumpers look more “track” oriented as does the new fixed rear-wing. The details are impossible to see thanks to the paint.

To their credit, I certainly can’t call the car boring any more. What do you think?
