Helicopter Chases Sports Cars through Arizona’s Back Roads

Spring time means clear roads and sports cars. They go hand-in-hand pretty much. That also means it’s road rally season. The Gumball 3000 is well underway, but it’s immensely popular and sure to catch the eyeballs of even the most casual motorsports fan. The “Poker Run,” however, is much less of a free-for-all publicity stunt and more of a spirited sports car cruise.

Though it’s smaller, Vivid Racing’s event has no shortage of sick cars. How often do you see a Nobel M400 outside of that one Top Gear episode? There were also GT-Rs, Z06s, a Lamborghini… the list goes on.

The great thing about this run compared to a big commitment like the Gumball rally, is that it’s over pretty quickly. Which in turn means a lower likelihood of having an run-in with the police. Or even worse, crashing your car.
