Here’s Your Hipster Street Art Lamborghini
Sometimes I find it nearly impossible to complete any creative task within 45 minutes. In fact, I’ve stared at my computer monitor without doing a thing for longer than that. Yet, it took a skateboarder, and artist exactly that to decorate an entire Lamborghini Gallardo.
Australia native, skateboard aficionado, and sharpie superstar, Rob Jenkins showed off his skills at the StreetWalls vs Fabcar contest. There, Rob was given a 45 minute time limit to paint his Italian canvas using only the colors black and white. On the other hand, his opponent whom played by the same rules would be painting a Nissan Skyline R32.
While flamboyant artwork on super cars and racing machines isn’t a novelty, turning it into a timed contest is, and I can only imagine it’d somewhat entertaining to watch—for the first 15 minutes or so.
It seems that Australian Mother Nature wasn’t too fond of such art, as it started raining about half way into the contest, and Rob was forced to find cover and deal with the visible consequences.
