Hertz to Offer Porsche Rental Cars

For people who travel around the US frequently, relying on rental cars becomes just another part of life. However, that part of life is almost never as fun as it could be. Hertz aims to change that by becoming the first major rental car company to rent Porsches. Yep. That way even when you’re away from home, you won’t be away from a fun drive.

This is hardly the first time that Hertz has made high-end wheels available for their customers. The companies prestige collection is host to Infiniti, Cadillac and even Mercedes.

There is a caveat. Unfortunately, Hertz will not be renting the Carrera. Tragic. Instead, travelling Porsche-o-philes and speed seekers will have to  make due with the Panamera. More than likely, it’ll be the 300hp V6 version. We’re not counting on Porsche allowing their venerable 911 to join the fray, though, the Cayenne seems like a natural next step.

Hertz will begin offering the Panamera in California, Nevada and Florida starting this month.
