A Car Hit This Guy’s Lamborghini and Then Took Off!

Lamborghini Hit and Run

When there is a crash that involves something beautiful and exotic we tend to cringe. After all, it is a horrific and tragic thing, and, even though it is positive if the driver walks away, any die-hard car enthusiast has to worry about the fate of the vehicle.

Well, this guy had one of those awful experience’s first hand when someone driving a green Taurus plowed right into his beautiful Lamborghini — and then took off.

No, the car (thankfully) wasn’t totaled. However, it did sustain some substantial damage that will have to be dealt with. Probably the most serious of the injuries to the car is a bent sub-frame, which occurred when, apparently, the high-end super car slid on the curb like a skateboard.

In addition to that, the ride also has damage to the fourteen thousand dollar (yes, $14k) side skirts, the fiberglass bumper, and the pricey and beautiful wheels.

The owner is Rob Dahm, who is known for his love of RX-7s and, obviously, his Lamborghini Diablo. He doesn’t seem too worried about the car at the moment, since the insurance will certainly help him through the necessary processes to get the Italian beauty back into tip top shape.

However, he is rather curious about how the accident really happened. As a quick rundown, the owner of the green Taurus was driving in front of Rob on a one way, one land road when it suddenly decided to stop.

Rob waited for a while, but when it became clear that the Taurus was not going to move he proceeded to drive around it. As he did so, the driver of Taurus abruptly came back to life and plowed straight into the Diablo before simply driving away.

Though we really hope that the accident wasn’t intentional, it is at least in the realm of unethical to drive away after hitting someone else — especially if you haven’t checked to see if the driver was alright.

This incident took place in Dahm’s hometown of Monroe, Michigan, so if any locals happen to spot a green Taurus in the area with some damage from, say, hitting a yellow sports car, then you know you’ve found the culprit of this crime.

Check out the video below to learn more about the damage, what occurred that led to the hit, and his rather funny reaction to the accident as a whole.
