Goodbye Before Hello: Jaguar C-X75 Driven
The world first laid eyes on it at the Paris Motor Show in 2010, and since then, the Jaguar C-X75 has been enthusiasts’ most-wanted car in production.
There are many people who would give up their ability to chew food to be able to drive one of these, and it’s depressing to learn that the blue model Auto Express is showing off in the video below is the final prototype out of five to be built. That’s right, waah.
The car was created to be an engineering test bed celebrating the best of Jaguar’s illustrious heritage. Especially pleasing is how it looks like the offspring of an E-Type and an XJ220. Because it was developed with some help from Williams F1, if it had been available for sale, people would have experienced owning a car with that special character only F1-developed automobiles have. Lucky members of the public would have experienced another legend in the spirit of the Acura NSX. If you’ve never said a prayer in your life, right now might be a good time to start praying for Tata Motors to give Jaguar the green light for production.
