Jaguar’s F-Type Coupe is the Best Support Vehicle Ever
Jaguar is quickly becoming one of my favorite car company’s lately. Not only do they have one of the most strikingly beautiful cars around, but the company’s press department seems to be having all the fun in the world and are pretty much allowed to get away with anything they can think up.
Get villains to sponsor your product? Sure. Make one look like a history LeMans racer? We will put it into production. And now, since the Tour de France is going on and needs safety and back-up bike carrier cars, the obviously went with their most practical XF right?
Nope, the obvious answer is the new F-Type Coupe R, will all its 542 horsepower glory! Jaguar built a one off F-Type to support Team Sky for one leg of the massive endurance race. The car is equipped to hold two extra bikes, radios, amps, microphones, and a whole host of other things that the team may need during the race.
The car is finished off in the Team Sky livery which sets the car off perfectly. Obviously this won’t make production, but I still think Jaguar should have a bike roof rack as an option. Because if you are going to bike, why not bike in style?
