Jay Leno and the Ferrari F40

The Ferrari F40: you know about it, I know about it, we all know about the F40, one of the rawest and most hard-edged road cars to ever come from the Italian brand. It looks unlike any other car, with an incredibly small frontal area, and massively wide bodywork. It goes unlike just about any other car, courtesy of a 2.9L twin-turbocharged V8 engine that howled all the way to it’s 7750RPM redline.

What you might not know, is in regards to the smaller details: the surprisingly large frunk, the clear lexan, vented engine cover, and the myriad of other things that the ever precocious Jay Leno covers. Fortunately for the viewers, this F40 is owned by Ferrari enthusiast David Lee, who really knows his stuff when it comes to matters of the prancing horse. These two cover seemingly every detail of the F40, inside and out, finishing up with the typical Jay Leno test drive, so we can “see how she’s cruises.” Sit back, and enjoy this up close view of the inner workings on this incredible Ferrari.
