Check out Jay Leno’s Sinister-Looking Ford GT
Jay Leno takes delivery of the Ford GT he allegedly never applied for, and needless to say it’s a total stunner!
We can all agree that Jay Leno is a pretty cool dude. And when it comes to celebrity car collectors, it’d be hard to find someone who ranks higher than the denim-clad, baby-faced Leno. This means one doesn’t only expect him to possess the latest and greatest, but also to do faster and easier than anyone else.
According to his tv show’s Instagram feed, Leno has officially taken possession of his very own Ford GT, which sports a sinister black paint, black glossy wheels, and red racing stripes. Furthermore, the GT was immediately cocooned by a second layer of skin courtesy of Protective Film Solutions. Leno wasn’t the among the first customers to receive the American supercar, but was supposedly given an “easy way in.”
While there’s no official word from Leno or Ford Motor Company, the rumor on the street has it that the famous collector was able to circumvent the Ford GT application process. You know, the one where you had to prove yourself worthy of a GT? The application inquired about the potential owner’s social media following, previous Ford purchases, and even possible yearly mileage! We wouldn’t be at all surprised (or mad) if Ford spared Leno the hassle.
Regardless, we’re happy to see he’s finally able to enjoy this amazing machine, and even more excited to see it on Jay Leno’s Garage when it returns to CNBC on June 28!
