Jeff Zwart Conquers Pikes Peak
Watching the videos that come out of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is the best way to discover that 99 percent of us have no idea what it’s like to truly drive a car. Just watch a few minutes of in-car footage from the guys who race in this competition and you’ll be blown away.
This year, Porsche fanatic and automotive icon Jeff Zwart took his 911 GT3 Cup Turbo to the mountain to race in the Time Attack 1 Class. It’s embarrassing how good Zwart is and the film he made while at this year’s race is impossibly awesome. It’s short, but it perfectly encapsulates what it takes to drive a car quickly up the treacherous mountain.
What makes it better is that all of it was shot in stunning 4K resolution, meaning every little detail is available for the world to see in high definition.
