Lamborghini With Under-Ass Fire Does 250 mph in Standing Mile

The Lamborghini Gallardo you’re about to see literally has a fire under its ass. That kind of motivation got it down a mile-long Russian drag strip in 23.892 seconds at 250 mph. The pyrotechnics are pretty spectacular, and at 1:17 in the video, you’ll think you’re watching Back to the Future.

After the record-breaking run, the fire gets worse and ends up melting the 2,005-horsepower Lambo’s paint. These warp-drive Lamborghinis seem to have little luck. You may recall the 1,800-horsepower Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera that disintegrated down the same drag strip last month.
