Lamborghini Can’t Keep the Huracán on the Shelves
We knew that the new Lamborghini Huracán needed to fill some epic shoes when it replaced the Gallardo. Well it seems that the baby Lamborghini is already on its way to a hell of a start. In its first 10 months on sale, Lamborghini has already sold 3000 cars which is almost triple of what the Gallardo managed.
While the Lamborghini sold around 14,000 units of the Gallardo over its entire lifespan, the new Huracán could possibly dethrone the king Lambo quite quickly. Although the Huracán is still very new, and those numbers could be inflated due to the newness of the car, Lamborghini is adamant that it will outsell the Gallardo.
If the numbers ever do begin to drop, and that’s probably a few years away, Lamborghini has stated that there will be other versions of the new Huracán to insatiate the market once again. Lamborghini’s CEO Stephan Winkelmann even said there could be a solely RWD and manual version in the works! Everyone needs to start writing him right now so he actually comes through with that!
