First Lamborghini Huracan Performante in Canada
The Lamborghini Huracan Performante is the fastest bull out of Italy right now. How does it compare to a modified 800 horsepower Huracan?
Performante is Italian for performance. The Huracan Performante is lighter, faster, and more aggressive. The Performante’s version of the V10 uses parts from the Huracan Super Trofeo race car. In fact, the heads on the naturally aspirated V10 are right off the track only bull. Along with a new exhaust system and a set of valves, the Performante makes 631 screaming horsepower. Also, this race inspired supercar is lighter, just like its track-bound brother. Lamborghini built a version of forged carbon fiber, originally developed for the Sesto Elemento. It has added strength, while being lighter weight. The Performante uses this forged carbon fiber material on the front lip, rear diffuser, rear wing, and wing supports.
The decreased weight and increased power means, the Peformante does zero to sixty in 2.4 seconds, versus 2.8 second for the standard Huracan. Every aspect of the car, in the nature of performance, is more hardcore. The springs are stiffer, the sway bars are stiffer, the transmission shifts faster, and the magnetic ride is now magical. Not like, Harry Potter magical, but the engineers made improvements to increase the capabilities on the road and track. So much so, that the Performante is faster around the Nurburgring than a Porsche 918.

In this video, Youtuber DailyDrivenExotics, is on hand at Lamborghini Vancouver to witness the delivery of the first two Huracan Performantes. DDE is the owner of a modified Huracan. He scheduled his car to be serviced and it happened to be on he same day. His Huracan features an aggressive Vorsteiner carbon fiber body kit. Which includes a front lip, front fenders with vents, a rear diffuser, and a unique rear wing. He car also has a VF Engineering supercharger installed. So, it now makes around 800 horsepower. In the video, you can hear his supercharged V10 wail and the exhaust backfiring. It is pretty epic. The question for all you readers is, which Lamborghini Huracan would you want in your garage?
