Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo Debuts
A few weeks ago we showed you a teaser of the upcoming Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo, the racecar that is set to take the place of the aging Gallardo Super Trofeo. In Pebble Beach, the new raging bull has finally come among us, and it’s awesome.
The Huracán Super Trofeo, is just about as sinister a racecar you can get. It has angles. It has vents. It has a big wing. And a massive V10 lump sitting right behind the drivers head to make you absolutely go deaf from the constant BRAP! In short, it’s lovely.
It seems to take a few styling cues from the bonkers Sesto Elemento and that is nothing short of genius. The Sesto Elemento is perhaps my favorite Lamborghini of all time. I know, the Miura is cool, but the way that the Sesto sits, the bare carbon, and the cut outs of the engine bay, it’s just rockin’, and that’s what makes this car so flipping cool too.
The official moving debut was actually at Quail Motorsports Gathering in Carmel, and its debut is only a week away from when it’s set to race in the US Blancpain series. The car gets a ten horsepower bump from the road car, but obviously it weighs considerably less, meaning it’s quick. I really need to figure out how to get my hands on one right now!
