Lamborghini Teases New Gallardo in Video
The Lamborghini Gallardo is dead. Long live the Lamborghini Gallardo!
Lambo’s most popular model ever might be finished in it’s current iteration, but it seems that Lamborghini is bringing it back it’s successor for the Paris Auto show later this month. This is both an exciting and different move from Lamborghini. Obviously, people love the Gallardo, but Lamborghini has never been the type to build cars iteratively (a la Porsche). A new Gallardo would be the first time in history that they’ve done such a thing. That’s not bad, just different. The 50 million dollar question is what it’ll look like.
To that end, the teaser isn’t exactly useful. Parts fly through the air in slow motion towards some ominous energy. We see bits of carbon fiber, a honeycomb grill, screws, bolts and what not. Using our powers of observation and incredible deductive skills, we’ve come to the conclusion that it will definitely be… A car.
What kind of car is a better (read: more fun) question to ruminate on. Will it be based on the vicious looking Sesto Elemento? Will it pack a V10? AWD? Flamethrowing exhuasts? All these answers an more will be revealed at the Paris Auto Show.
