Lamborghini Shows Off Terra Mode in Urus SUV
Whether you live in Los Angeles, Dubai, or Colorado, the Lamborghini Urus will get you anywhere you need to go.
The newest Lamborghini SUV to adorn the magical lineup of Italian vehicles is the Urus, and it’s more than just a pretty face. As a result, the automaker has released a series of teaser videos on their YouTube channel with the latest one showing-off the “Terra” driving mode.
That’s right, if you thought that Lamborghini would create a street/track-centric SUV, you’d be wrong, because apparently rich playboys also need to leave the concrete jungle. Much like the brand’s supercars, the Urus features a Strada, Sport, and Corsa driving modes. But, it also sees the addition of three more modes: Neve (snow), Sabbia (sand), and Terra (earth, but think of it as “dirt”).
The short teaser shows the Urus playing around in dirt-packed trails, creating lots of dust and kicking rocks around. With a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine kicking out 641 horsepower, the Urus seems more than ready to go play in the dirt.
Lest you think those fine Italian horses are being wasted in a big SUV, know this: 0-60 MPH happens in under four seconds, and we know that the largest Lambo will top out at 187 mph at the infamous Green Hell. And that’s not even it’s official top speed of 190 mph. Lamborghini is building the Urus to be a brute, on and off road.
