Lamborghini’s Urus Sees the Sun
Get a load of the Lamborghini’s latest addition, the Urus, in the flesh. According to Autoblog.nl, it was being shown off at Lamborghini’s factory. Considering the SUV isn’t finished or anything, this makes the most sense.
Personally, I still think it’s fantastically offensive. Though, now that I’ve seen it in the flesh, the proportions and edges don’t bother me as much as they did when it was revealed. Instead, i’m troubled by it’s resemblance to BMW X6M. Both cars are ugly, but the worst part is that they’re both kinda pointless. Of course, these are super cars we’re talking about: usefullness is tertiary concern behind looks and power. It certainly is a magnet for attention, and knowing Lamborghini, power isn’t going to be an issue at all. Still, were my several hundred thousand imaginary dollars real, I’d have a hard time justifying this over an actual sports car. Or the equally imaginary Estoque, for that matter.
But that’s just a preference. The car isn’t technically finished yet, and Lamborghini hasn’t released details on it’s release. The Urus is supposed to be the beginning of a whole new line of Lamborghinis, so a lot is riding on the back of this beast of burden.
