These Lambos, Porsches, Shelbys & More Were Left to Rot
While I personally own a Honda Civic, I have the pleasure of testing many cars that I normally wouldn’t be able to afford. In fact, some of them I wouldn’t be able to buy even if I multiplied my income times five.
When I hear about people storing precious sports cars instead of driving them it makes me sad. I also don’t comprehend how someone can amass high-end luxury and exotic cars only to have them as museum pieces, but regardless, what people do with their stuff is none of my business. But to prove a point, here’s a pretty rare barn find that was just uncovered in California.
Someone in the sunny and beautiful coastal state recently opened the doors to a storage facility that had seen better days. Inside they found some serious sheet metal, though most of it had a thick layer of dust and cobwebs from decades past. Some of the heavy-hitters found includes multiple Lamborghini Countachs, and several Porsche 911 models including a gorgeous Speedster with a ridiculously low 41 miles on the odometer!
Besides the fine European machines, there was a Shelby GT500 commissioned by Carroll Shelby himself, and an iconicĀ Buick GSX and 1969 Hemi Charger. Talk about having some of America’s finest.
Sadly, there aren’t many details as to where exactly this collection is, who it once belonged to, who it belongs to know, or even more details about the vehicles found. Thanks to the guys atĀ GTSpirit.com for the excellent barn find!
