So this is what fast feels like. The guy who decided to mount this go pro camera on the back of this twin-turbo Lamborghini Gallardo from UGR deserves a high five. I mean, it’s understood that they’re fast, but it’s difficult to get a sense of what fast really means until you have point of reference. Like highway traffic being left in the dust, for instance.
I assume that this video was shot in “Mexico,” which is odd, considering the TX2K13 super car meet was under full swing last weekend. While UGR’s Lamborghini’s are well known (building turbo Gallardos can draw some pretty serious attention), most of the cars here are beastly. In this video, the competition is GT-R tuned by T1 race development. My guess is that it’s making something in the vicinity of 1000hp. If anything, that should give some kind point of reference for when they take-off.
Can I mention the sound? Jesus. That Lamborghini V10 sounds like a pissed off hornet’s nest.
Here’s another video of that Gallardo on the highway. This time the competition is a little more extreme. As in, 1700hp Corvette extreme. This blue nightmare of a vehicle has been built by Late Model Racecraft. Fans of TI should recognize it as last year’s winner. It’s only natural that it would be out terrorizing the highways along with UGR’s creations. Both cars are absolutely manic.
