Look Like a Million Bucks in This 1987 Fordiero GT!
Back in 2012 a Gulf liveried Ford GT40 sold for a record 11 million bucks, currently an early 2000’s Ford GT goes for around half-a-million, and the upcoming Ford GT around $400,000 bucks. The price of this sweet looking Fordiero GT? A cool 26 grand.
Our friends at Hemmings have a unique 1987 Fordiero GT located in Gilman, Iowa, and according to the description, this wanna be Ford GT40 is a professionally built kit car, and was even featured on the cover of ‘Kit Car Builder Magazine’ back in 2004.
According to the owner, the Fordiero GT has always been covered, and stored in a climate controlled facility, which is somewhat backed up by looking at the interior and engine bay photos. The Fordiero GT features a Chevy block on a mid-engine layout, a manual GM gearbox, and supposedly only 2,500 miles in the odometer.
This head-turning kit car is currently a bit dusty and aching to go for a drive. Will you be the one to clean it up and hit the road?
