It’s been a few weeks now since the Geneva Motor Show’s high-profile unveilings. Geneva has built their own reputation of having some of the most notable exotics and high-end luxury veilings of any shows in the International Motorshow circuit.

And with plenty of exciting unveilings like my personal favorite here, the 1,600-hp Mansory Carbonado GT, I’d like to think they’ve secured their spot as king of the circuit purely off the introduction of this car.

So why do I love the Mansory Carbonado GT?

Let’s be honest, what isn’t there to love about it? It’s absolutely insane. More specifically, it’s the product of a child-prodigy-idiot-savante-mad-scientist-designer-engineer with an unlimited budget and imagination.

The only thing that could make this car cooler is goddamn rocket thrusters and flying capabilities.

For starters, it begins life as a flagship Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. Then by some ingeniously meticulous work, the car undergoes a complete makeover with almost every body panel being replaced by carbon fiber pieces. Even the wheels have carbon inlays.

The looks: We tend to spend a lot of time nitpicking at design cues, trying to decipher subtle inspirations and reasoning why cars look a certain way and why designers chose to do certain things.  It’s clear the Mansory Carbonado GT was purpose built with one thing in mind: To go very, very, very fast.

Mansory has also done the amazing service of taking the wee little 6.5-liter V12 of the Aventador, and slamming two turbochargers on it to produce 1,600 hp. The torque, has been electronically limited to 855 lb-ft. I didn’t even know that process existed. The Mansory Carbonado GT cuts through the wind at sonic speeds, going from 0-60 in 2.1 seconds. Top speed? 230 mph. And they even had the audacity to put a “stealth” badge on it. Love it.
