“Major Tom” Meets BMW M3 DTM – BMW Motorsport

Tom Coronel was honoured as the most successful privateer BMW driver of the 2013 season at BMW Motorsport’s traditional season review. Two wins and a total of four podium finishes at the wheel of the BMW 320 TC in the FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) earned “Major Tom” victory in the BMW Sports Trophy, and with it a winner’s cheque for 30,000 Euros and the chance to test drive the BMW M3 DTM. Here’s the video from Jerez. 

The video begins with images of Tom Coronel as he preps, talks with the race team, and gets suited up to tackle the track with the M3 DTM. And just as the adrenaline and the pace of the video pick up – you watch as the M3 heroically screams down the raceway and tackles each bend forcefully, free of drama, and utterly glued to the tarmac.
