Purple Pain? McLaren Unveils Special MSO Editions of the 570S Coupe
The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance is one of the most famous and historic auto shows in the world. Routinely attracting hundreds of millions of dollars worth of historic, classic, and modern automobiles from around the world and displaying those cars to the public.
However, lately, many of the vintage automobiles have been sidelined due to the fact that it’s becoming increasingly popular for manufacturers to debut special edition cars on the same lawn that houses pristine pre-war cars. As such, McLaren has decided that this year’s Pebble Beach will make for the perfect venue to unveil a couple special MSO Editions of the new McLaren 570S Coupe.
According to McLaren, the “bespoke division of McLaren will showcase some of the individualization options it will make available on the forthcoming new 570S Coupe, the first model to join the McLaren Sport Series. Two examples have been created. The first 570S Coupe by MSO features the uniquely formulated Mauvine Blue paint finish coupled with a bespoke interior finished in Carbon Black leather with coordinating detailing, carried through from the exterior color. A second 570S Coupe, finished in Ventura Orange and fitted with a selection of styling details from the MSO Defined range of options, will take up position on the popular Concept Lawn at the event.”
McLaren has already begun taking orders for the new supercar, and will begin production of it soon.
