“MCN” Goes on Double Date with a Kawasaki Ninja H2 and a ZZR1400

Sports cars and sport bikes present a fickle industry. In a world obsessed with performance and speed (most of which consumers will never actually be able to experience or push to those limits), it’s all about track times, top speeds, and quickest jumps off the line. Kawasaki has been pretty good at this game.

The Kawasaki’s ZZR1400 (ZX-14) used to be the world’s fastest production bike, thanks to more than 200 horsepower and more than 100 lb-ft of torque. Now that we have the leisure to look back at the bike, it turns out that actually wasn’t that crazy. And Kawasaki made another bike to prove that, the H2.

Thanks to a 998cc supercharged inline-4, the H2 makes 310 horsepower and has a top speed of 210 mph. It’s one of the wildest production vehicles of all time. Motorcycle News recently got the chance to take the brothers out together and hit the road and the track to see just how different they are side by side. See what they had to say:
