Million Dollar Shenanigans
On a hot winter’s day, automotive culture clubs CupGang (the same one that gave us the awesome Hyper 5 series) and Purist Group teamed up to host a spectacular gathering of supercars at DeSano Pizza Bakery in Los Angeles.
Over 50 vehicles showed up at the popular East Hollywood pizza spot, and even more spectators filled what little walking space was left.
Now, this wasn’t just a run-of-the-mill car meet — it was also an opportunity to shine a spotlight on Project Vietnam Foundation, a non-profit organization that aims to “create sustainable pediatric healthcare in Vietnam.” PVF features volunteer doctors and surgeons who, through two medical missions a year, provide primary care, dental care, education and reconstructive surgery for families in needy rural areas.
And since no kid actually likes to go to the doctor’s office, CupGang and Purist Group collected 450+ toys — donated by the community — for Project Vietnam to share with their young patients.
It was a hugely successful event in terms of both charity and cars. Keep an eye out for future events from CupGang x Purist Group, and visit ProjectVietnam.org to find out how you can help support their cause.
