Lamborghini Centenario Stupefies MotorWeek During Drive Event
While some of the Raging Bull’s ultra-exclusive designs have been questionable, the Centenario is downright delizioso!
Can we all agree that the Lamborghini Veneno will go down in history as the ugliest, most expensive car ever made? Yes? Okay, with that out of the way, we can focus on Sant’Agata’s most exclusive baby — the Centenario. Of course, we kid, the Veneno is excellent, but just look at this thing!
Created to celebrate Ferrucio Lamborghini’s 100th anniversary, the Italian powerhouse produced only 20 coupes and 20 roadsters, for a total global production of only 40 vehicles. Now take that, LaFerrari! As you might expect, such exclusivity comes with an exorbitant price tag. How about $2.5 million dollars? Oh, and even if you had the cash in your pocket right now, you couldn’t buy one.
In fact, you could never buy one, because all of them were snatched by Lambo’s clienti before they even went into production. So next time you think you’re cool cruising down the street in your mass-produced Huracan, remember that you never received a box of fancy chocolates from Italy. Yes, Lamborghini sent prospective owners Centenario-branded chocolates along with an exclusive invitation to buy the car.
Enjoy a quick but thorough overview of the mighty Lambo courtesy of the good folks at MotorWeek.
