MY RIDE! A 2001 Porsche 996TT

It should come as no surprise to anybody that someone who makes their living as an automotive designer would only own one of the most well designed cars out there. It makes sense, after all. No person of this occupation would want to be seen cruising around in a poorly designed ride, such as a Pontiac Aztek, would they? Of course not.

This is exactly why 6SpeedOnline member Sker66, an automotive designer, is the proud owner of a 2001 Porsche 996TT, and today we’ll be stepping inside his garage and taking a closer look at his excellent ride!

Now, one thing that we’re sure all automotive designers, and most regular drivers out there, are aware of is the fact that the quality of a car is more than just how it looks, but also how it drives.

Though this 996TT was certainly quite an excellent machine to cruise around in when it was stock, Sker66 has worked at improving it over time. As it sits now, the Porsche has Garrett BB turbochargers, an Enzo throttle body, S-Car-Go headers, a carbon fiber intake system, 19″ HRE Billets, and much more.

With all of these modifications to this already quick ride, this Porsche now puts down 611 rear wheel horsepower, which certainly sounds like a good time!
