MY RIDE! A Guards Red 2009 Porsche 997.2

Sometimes it’s just time for an upgrade. After owning a ride for awhile, there are certain things that can begin to bother us, especially when we see newer models coming out that fix all those little nuisances that the older rides had. That’s not to say that older rides are bad; after all, some people choose to “upgrade” into older vehicles as well. Really, it’s a matter of preference.

And for 6SpeedOnline member jrthe1, he made the decision to upgrade from his 2002 Porsche 996 into the new-to-him 2009 Porsche 997.2. We’d say that it was a very good choice!

After selling his old Porsche, jrthe1 sought out his new ride. It took two weeks, but it seems that he found the perfect vehicle to meet his needs! His current Porsche is a 2009 997.2, and it is excellent. Painted in Guards Red and sporting a black interior with a red center console, seat belts, and lettering on the rear window, this car is a beauty. Jrthe1 claims that this amazing ride is better than his old one in every respect, especially when it comes to the 9A1 motor!

After flying from Wisconsin to Cincinnati to pick up this ride and driving it all the way back, we’d say that jrthe1 seems to have fallen in love with his new Porsche!
