2025 Aston Martin Vantage offers over 660 horsepower, an interior overhaul, and outstanding handling characteristics.

Though we’re still mourning the loss of the Aston Martin V12 powerplant, the release of the new 2025 Aston Martin Vantage is helping to get through the pain. Though it doesn’t have a screaming 12-cylinder powerplant, it does offer a mind-blowing amount of power courtesy of a twin-turbocharged V8. In addition, the 2025 model has a host of upgrades compared to the outgoing model. Let’s dive in.

Aston Martin recently announced the specs of the 2025 model year. Frankly, if you have a 2024 model on order, you should probably talk to your dealer about canceling it and waiting for the 2025 model. It really is that big of a difference. Moreover, Aston Martin is saying deliveries should begin in Q2 2024. So, you wouldn’t have to wait all that long. Here’s all the performance specs and details you need to know about this killer new Aston Martin coupe!

Massive Power and Performance on Tap

The 2025 Vantage has an AMG-derived 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine. It puts out an eye-watering 656 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque.  The engine is mated to an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission tuned to maximize response and driver enjoyment. It’ll sprint from zero to 60 miles per hour in just 3.4 seconds and continue on to a top speed of 202 miles per hour. Aston Martin, as you’re likely aware, is about far more than straight-line performance, though.  The 2025 Aston Martin Vantage comes with Bilstein DTX adaptive dampers, an electronic rear differential, active vehicle dynamics, and Michelin Pilot S 5 tires. Combining all that with perfect 50-50 weight distribution means it’s ready to dominate the track.

Aston Martin calls the 2025 Vantage “the quintessential Aston Martin sports car and the most driver-focused and fastest Vantage in the famous nameplate’s 74-year history.” The intent focus on handling and performance makes that abundantly clear. However, it is still an Aston Martin. So, off the track, it still has plenty to offer to both drivers and passengers.

Interior and Tech

Aston Martin describes the new Vantage’s “ultra-luxury interior” with phrases like “flawless architectural lines” and “packed with state-of-the-art connected technology.” It has a Bowers & Wilkins surround sound system and is laden with hand-stitched Bridge of Weir fine Scottish leather upholstery. Though the seats are bolstered and sporty, we trust that Aston has made them every bit as luxurious as they are effective on track.  Balancing luxury and performance is not an easy thing, but it’s a game that Aston Martin is quite good at.

Though Aston Martin uses a cutting-edge infotainment system with a 10.25-inch touchscreen, we’re ecstatic to see that they balance the touchscreen experience with tactile physical buttons. Having that balance is extremely important, as leaning too far into touchscreen integration has been a point of contention for consumers across all sorts of automakers. Ultimately, it looks like the 2025 Aston Martin Vantage is a phenomenal leap for the namesake. We can’t wait to see one in person!
