NSX on Tour: Acura Takes the New Supercar for a Walk
It’s been ten years since the last Acura NSX left the assembly line, and during that absence, we’ve been treated and teased to countless concepts, and false hopes fed to us by Acura itself. Now though, the NSX will finally live again with the launch of the new car just a few weeks away. However, this new car is definitely something different from that of the original, as shown by a few pictures obtained through Reddit as the NSX makes its way across the country.
Given the relatively soon launch, Acura has brought out a few prototypes and has been traveling around on the #AcuraNSXOnTour, testing them on the open highways, and finding that people are really digging the new look. Even though the NSX has lost its natural aspiration, simple mechanics, and RWD, the car supposedly is just as nuanced as the original, although it definitely has a hard act to follow.
With that, the twin-turbocharged hybrid V6 will definitely be plenty for the bigger car, and we’re excited to test it out once it finally is launched.
