Paul Walker’s Skyline is Up For Sale
No matter what anyone says, the Fast and the Furious franchise has indeed helped more young kids be brought into the automotive world than anything else. It doesn’t matter if the effects or dialogue is cheesy, or when the Rock does his whole eyebrow thing, it’s made a difference among the enthusiast community and I for one love the movies.
With that, hero cars from the movies have gone for big money, and now there’s another one for sale.
This is a 2009 Nissan Skyline GT-R 34 that was used by the late Paul Walker in the fourth movie in the franchise. Unlike many of the other cars used in the production of that movie, this one is an actual Skyline; all the others were fakes with Skyline bodywork.
This one though has all the bells and whistles you would want. 550 horsepower out of the 2.6L 6-cylinder twin-turbo engine. There’s also a full cage, custom Nismo exhaust, upgraded brakes, OMP seats and harnesses, and a set of Nismo lowering springs to fully set this car off.
It looks absolutely spectacular, I just wish we could bring it over to the States without the government crushing it immediately.
The car is up on Classic Trader and they expect it to go for at least $900,000. According to some though, because of the cars relation to the late Paul Walker, it could go for a considerable amount more.
Who wants to go halfsies with me?
