Pics From the 911 GTS Reveal at the LA Auto Show
The United States is Porsche’s most important market, and none of those markets is more important than California. As I’ve said many times, you can’t throw a rock in Los Angeles without hitting one of the 19 variants—yup, one less than 20—of the company’s iconic 911. So Stuttgart generally saves a nice world premier for the crowds in LaLa Land. And this year, the top dog was a the 911 GTS.
Slotted neatly between the the S and ferocious GT3, the GTS sports a 430hp 3.8L mill, the beefier bodywork of the Carrera 4, and is available in a the company’s latest seven-speed manual or with a DCT.
