[UPDATE] This Porsche 911 is a Lemon, and it has Messed with the Wrong Guy

We admire Nick for how much he loves his 991, but it seems Nick’s Porsche 911 Carrera S is failing to return the favor. You see, Nick’s 991 is a lemon. That’s not an exaggeration: there’s a lot of shit wrong with Nick’s car, the worst of which is how smoke and water fills the cabin. Last time I checked, Porsche 911s weren’t engineered to be 180-mph bongs. If owning a lemon Porsche isn’t enough of a nightmare, it appears Porsche Cars North America is making the pain worse by issuing Nick “thinly veiled threats”.

For as much money as Nick paid for his car, I’d think Porsche would be a little nicer, so this leaves me a bit surprised, but as long as Porsche gives Nick a difficult time, this nightmare will continue to gather public interest. As talented as Nick is at documenting his saga, it’s probably in Porsche’s best interest to buy back Nick’s car and leave this situation behind like a 911 Turbo drag racing a Corolla.
