U.K.-based classic car auctioneers The Market will soon exhibit a Porsche 911 RSR recreation freshly built to the exacting standards of the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1975 car at the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show.

“With original 911 and 934 RSRs reaching seven figure prices today, this exacting recreation is the closest that many can get to a car which evokes the spirit of one of the most desirable Porsches ever built,” says Tristan Judge, director of The Market. “The Classic Motor Show is one of the biggest events of the year for us and we’re excited to be back this year, especially so with this incredible RSR Recreation on our stand for show visitors to see up-close and admire.”

Created with impeccable attention to detail, this RSR recreation was originally an American market 1977 Porsche 911 and has been stripped to a bare shell and was reportedly “meticulously prepared and reassembled with some of the finest components money can buy.”

Presented in one of the most evocative racing liveries of the 1970s, based on that used on the 1975 Le Mans 24-Hour Porsche 911 Carrera RSR and the 1976 European GT Championship 934 RSR, the striking green paintwork, colored stripes and Vaillant sponsorship livery are as immaculate as the perfect shut lines and panels.
