Porsche fans rejoice, it looks like we’ll finally get to see the 992 911 in the flesh starting November 30!

We’ve been waiting what seems like an eternity for Porsche to finally pull the covers off its all-new 992-gen 911. Well, officially, at least. We’re already quite familiar with what the new 911 looks like thanks to countless spy shots and even some showing the car completely devoid of camo.

But now, multiple reliable sources and simple reading of the tea leaves seems to point to a 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show unveiling. Which, of course, starts on November 30 and runs through December 9. Porsche themselves released one heck of a teaser recently with this Porsche 911 design trailer. Which is kinda like what you see right before a mega-budget movie comes out.

But the first (and biggest) tip of all comes from Car & Driver, who claim to have received this information from Porsche themselves. And even the official L.A. Auto Show site seems to hint at a 992 911 unveiling. Visit their Porsche release page, and there’s an ominous picture of a covered car and a simple note about a “Porsche vehicle debut.”

The timing of all of this just makes too much sense for it not to happen. C&D is reporting that the 2020 model year 911 will hit U.S. dealerships in the summer of 2019. Well, at least the Carrera S and 4S. Oddly enough, the regular Carrera will follow a few months later, followed by a new Turbo model by the end of the year. Targa, GT3, and GTS models will likely bow sometime after that.

Finally, U.K.’s Car Magazine is also reporting that the 992 911 will be in attendance in L.A. But they note that the Panamera GTS will be there, too. Which would mark this new model’s car show debut. Thus, the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show is shaping up as a must-see for Porsche fans. And if it isn’t, we’d be shocked at this point, frankly!
