Porsche 997 with 1,600 Horsepower Sets Record
If you’re Anthony Taylor and have a 997-generation Porsche 911 that makes 1,600 horsepower to the wheels, you probably want to try to set records with it. That’s exactly what he did during Omega Motorsports’ NoFlyZone Arizona back in March.
The video, from SkyPixel Media, shows the Porsche hitting an astonishing 219.08 miles-per-hour in just a half-mile run. That’s a blistering amount of speed and performance!
The modifications come from Evolution Motorsports with their biggest upgrade that they offer for the car. The car also features a sequential transmission to help with lightning-fast gear changes.
Who needs a Bugatti Veyron or Ferrari LaFerrari when you have one of these?
