Porsche Fans Unite! Sierra Madre Collection to Host SMC AUTOFEST 2022
SMC AUTOFEST is an annual open house hosted at the Sierra Madre Collection headquarters in Los Angeles, California.
If there is one thing that Porsche owners enjoy more than driving their cars it is showing their cars. Whenever there is a Porsche gathering you can count on a strong turnout from local, and sometimes distant Porsche owners. In a couple weeks there will be another opportunity to gather.
This time it will be at the Sierra Madre Collection headquarters in Los Angeles, California. The event is the annual SMC AUTOFEST. The SMC AUTOFEST is a Porsche show combined with an open house at one of the best-known Porsche part suppliers.
The show will take place on Thursday, February 24. It will run from 10 AM to 4 PM local time. The streets will be closed and reserved for Porsche parking only. Are you in between Porsches at the moment? No problem, you can still attend the show with a general admission ticket, you will just have to park elsewhere. The best part is the Porsche parking and the general admission tickets are free of charge. Just register and show up. Tough to beat that deal. Sierra Madre Collection
Jorge Perez founded Sierra Madre Collection back in 2007 out of his own garage. The company specializes in Porsche and other European auto parts. If you are having a tough time finding an obscure part, there is a good chance that Sierra Madre Collection has it.
If they don’t, they can probably make it for you. In 2017 they even launched their own product line. The business has grown out of that garage into 15,500 square feet of showroom, warehouse, and office space. Speaking of out growing garage space.
Sierra Madre Collection offers a private storage facility with 24-hour digital surveillance to store your favorite car. If you are a Porsche owner or even just a fan you won’t want to miss a chance to attend their annual open house.
SMC AUTOFEST 2022 Details
More specific details on exactly what to expect at AUTOFEST 2022 are yet to be released. But based on what they have offered in the past there should be something for everyone.
Naturally there will be the cars on display. In addition, there will be food and adult beverages available. There are artists on hand sketching some of the show cars. And there are even trophies presented in several fun categories such as “Best Stickers” and more. Bring the little ones, as this is an event for the whole family.
