Porsche Macan is a Macan’t After Failing Moose Test

What’s great about other countries is that we get to enjoy the hilarity of some of the tests they do on cars. The EU has the pedestrian test where it tests how well a car cushions the blow of getting hit by a car, I’ll just go out on a limb but I don’t think anything will help while getting hit by a car. But then there is the Moose/Elk test. I’m guessing you can infer where this is going?

There seems to be a heavy prevalence of moose and elk in the Scandinavian countries in the north of Europe, and like Maine and Alaska here in the States, cars and these furry big creatures tend to meet up every so often and it usually doesn’t go well for either party.

Porsche-Macan

Why are we getting into the death of furry creatures and EU safety regulations? Because the new Porsche Macan failed the test and practically skidded out of control. Watch the video.

While Porsche states that the “issue” the testers found was actually a safety measure to prevent rollover, the Macan still received a failing grade in the ever present Moose escape test. So if you are a moose and see a Porsche Macan, do not cross the road. Likewise if you are in the Macan, don’t try and hit the moose.

So, is it a Macan or a Macan’t? Tell us what you think in the forum.>>
