Pop Culture Porsche: Porsche vs. Ferrari on Entourage

A convertible Porsche vs. a convertible Ferrari. Surely you’ve never seen those two race before. Oh wait, that’s a race as old as time. This particular street race, however, is an homage to the 1984 classic, “Against All Odds.” You might remember that one.

There’s less chest hair this time around, but there’s still Ari in a Ferrari, so what’s not to like? Considering the outcome of this particular race though, I think there’s pretty solid evidence here that putting a vanity plate on your car, especially an exotic, actually reduces horsepower. It may not be something that you can confirm that claim with a randomized, double blind study, but is it really worth the risk? I don’t think so.
