Porsche’s New Experience Center & HQ Will Blow Your Porsche Hat Off!
Porsche plans to turn its new mega-glamorous Atlanta, Georgia building into an experience center complete with a world-class racetrack, flagship showroom and even a hotel for all guests to soak in the Porsche experience.
Besides the ambitious experience center, Porsche has already but continues to grow the idea of establishing a strong North American HQ presence reminiscent to that in Stuttgart and Weissach. In typical German fashion, this massive endeavor will deploy the latest in facilities technology, including a LEED Gold certifications, which means the building itself will be extremely energy-efficient and minimize its environmental impact.
At the heart of heart of once was an old car manufacturing facility, the Porsche Experience Center and HQ will feature a 1.6 mile race track that’ll feature the engineers’ favorite corners from motorsport circuits around the world. This is where customers and potential buyers can come and experience Porsche cars where they belong.
In case you’re not ready for the race track, there will be a full drive training facility complete with high-end driving and racing simulators, where younger or aspiring Porsche drivers can hone their track skills before jumping into the real deal.
The golden touch to the facility will be a luxury hotel that’s set to open in late 2017, which will feature 214 modern guest rooms for the 30,000 per year visitors that Porsche expects to visit this motorized Disneyland. In the other hand, this hotel may come in handy give the fact that Porsche’s Experience Center is located directly across from the Atlanta International Airport.
How’s that for an office building?
