What’s not to love about a motorcycle that has more horsepower than a Toyota Corolla? Ducati just released the Monster 1200 R, and it’s a beauty. The Italian company tuned its Testastretta DS twin-cylinder engine to produce 160 horsepower and 97 lb-ft of torque to make the R the most powerful naked bike in the lineup (overlooking the 821 and 1200 S).

With that much power, you need the right equipment to keep it under control on the road. The R is set up with Öhlins suspension and shock, the same Brembo brakes as the 1299 Panigale, ABS and Traction control, a ride-by-wire system, and Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tires. It comes in at a 456-pound wet weight. Check out that tubular steel trellis in all of its glory below.
