Porsche 918 Production Photos Leaked

New photos Porsche’s 918 Spyder have leaked onto the internet courtesy of an indiscreet patent office in China. According to CarNewsChina, this is the final design for Porsche’s upcoming hybrid supercar. The photos appear to have escaped from a Chinese patent office. It looks pretty much exactly how we’ve expected.

I believe that’s a good thing. After all, the 918 has been out and about as a prototype for quite some time. Changing it up would be a shame, especially considering how good this new car looks in in old colors.

We expect Porsche to actually unveil the 918 sometime next year. Aside from knowing that it looks like a futuristic Carrera GT, we also know that it’ll cost nearly a million dollars. No matter. We’re sure it’ll be just as fun to drive in Gran Turismo as it is in real life.
