If you’re looking for solid investment opportunities, don’t look towards the stock market or blowing your life savings in Las Vegas! Instead, look to the collector’s car market.

If you live in the Fort Worth area, you can start your collection this weekend by bidding on a rare 1962 Ferrari Superamerica SWB Cabriolet by Pininfarina. It’s expected to sell for $7,000,000!

The folks at RM Sotheby’s are presenting the Paul and Chris Andrews collection this weekend; Saturday, May 2nd in Fort Worth. They expect the Ferrari to be the star of the show.

The Ferrari was the show car for the 1962 Geneva Motor Show and the New York International Auto Show, and was actually raced by its original owner at the Bonneville Salt Flats.

If vintage racers are your thing, they will have a 1962 Shelby 289 Competition Cobra, which was the first racing-specification Cobra sold to the public. It’d go nice next to your one of 37 2015 Shelby GT350Rs that Ford is offering up for sale.

Be sure to check out the entire auction catalog by clicking this link. I’m personally a fan of some of the memorabilia for sale, including some vintage neon signs. They’d go great in any classic car garage.

Do you think that Ferrari will sell for the anticipated $7 million? Let us know what you think in the forums!
