Rare Lamborghini Countachs Need Some Love
If you’re in the market for a pristine Lamborghini Countach—get your wallets out! Because there’s two special units headed to auction at the iconic Silverstone F1 circuit.
The iconic British auction is taking place on May 9th, and as with most auctions of this caliber, the vehicle catalog is more than delightful, but there are to Lamborghini Countachs that stand out above the rest, and both are right-hand drive.
The first of the two is a 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary edition, and is one of just 627 that were made to celebrate Lamborghini’s 25th birthday. This special unit was owned by Cleo Roberts, former wife of automotive icon Carroll Shelby, and it’s only been driven a minuscule 8,000 miles since new.
The second equally stunning unit, is a 1983 Lamborghini Countach 5000 S previously owned by Prince Salman Bin Saud Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia. The Lamborghini was purchased through a London dealership, and actually only spent about five years of its entire ownership in the Middle East.
With 30,000 miles in the odometer, this Lambo received a nearly $90,000 dollar restoration back in 1988 and then sold to its current owner. Needless to say, the bright paint job is a stunner.
Both units are expected to bring anywhere from £250,000 to £325,000.
Which one would you pick?
