Watch a Real Lamborghini Drift Car Come Together
Recently, we showed you what a Lamborghini Miura would look like as a drift car. In short, it looked properly insane, and we wanted one immediately. However, we are likely to never see an actually Lamborghini Miura missile car in our lifetimes.
Why, because they cost entirely too much money and are worth a considerable amount more. With that said, no one gave Daigo Saito, Formula Drift champion the notice that Lamborghinis shouldn’t be drift cars.
What Daigo made was Lamborghini Murcielago drift car. And yes, you read that correctly. For some reason, the mad drifter decided that it would be a great idea for him to build a drift car out of a used Lamborghini Murcielago supercar.
It still has its naturally aspirated V12 motor, but has since been boosted to 650 horsepower thanks to some lovely new internals. Although not the fire spitting, 1,000+ horsepower usually associated with Formula D cars, the build isn’t over just yet, so there’s a real possibility of the Lamborghini getting a pair of turbos real soon.
In addition to all the internal, and interior modifications, the big Lamborghini was also converted to RWD, and given a Liberty Walk bodykit. It took Daigo seven months for this project to reach its culmination, or at least to this level of tune. Here’s a real brief video of the new car. Enjoy.
