Refreshed Porsche 911 Caught Testing Undisguised
Ladies and gentlemen, here are some of the first pics of the refreshed Porsche 911 wearing little to no camouflage being tested at the world-famous Nürburgring in Germany. While there are very few changes on the exterior (it is a 911 refresh, after all), most of the changes are underneath.
On the exterior, there’s a new front bumper that resembles what is found on the Cayman GT4, employing LED DRLs. This might mean the end of the four LED DRLs that are in the current version’s headlights.
In the rear, there are more air vents, most likely to help cool the new engines that are featured in the rear. The new 911 is said to be using turbocharging across the model range to reduce emissions and increase performance. This means that the Turbo models won’t be the only ones with turbocharging.
We’ll know more as the vehicle gets closer to launch, but if you’re a fan of the 991’s looks (and I am), Porsche isn’t rocking the boat with this refresh. I can’t wait to see how the new turbocharged engines perform.
